Came one, came all to BOOKS, BOOZE & BLUEGRASS at Conor Byrne. Dark Coast Press has two new books out – Thirteen Fugues by Jennifer Natalya Fink and Elynia by David Michael Belczyk — and they decided to throw their book party Ballard style. I was lucky to read with Fink, Jonathan Evison and Sean Beaudoin and dance to the live “bluepunkgrassabilly” by Larry and his Flask!
I was so happy to see you there on Thursday, June 9th. If you couldn’t make it, check out this video, which began with my non-fiction narrative of working to free my friend Dorothy Parvaz from Syrian and Iranian custody.
Here’s the Dark Coast release:
Dark Coast Press put out two books in one month. We think that calls for a giant party — and we want you there!
On June 9, come to Conor Byrne celebrate the release of “Thirteen Fugues” by Jennifer Natalya Fink and “Elynia” by David Michael Belcyzk.
Drinks by Conor Byrne, live music by Larry And His Flask, and readings by guests including Jennifer Natalya Fink herself.
$7 at the door! See ya there.
Check out Larry and his Flask on YouTube. You will want to dance hard.
